Characteristics of fire pump for diesel engine.

The difference between diesel fire pump and electric pump is that diesel fire pump has its own independent power supply system battery. Therefore, the starting and operation of diesel fire pump can be completely separated from municipal electricity. The internal combustion engine fire pump is generally used as standby equipment, so it will start automatically only when the fire signal arrives, the fuel pump fails or the power supply is interrupted. When the electronic fuel pump is equipped with the ultra-low pressure starting pump device, the matching electric water pump control cabinet should also be equipped with the ultra-low pressure starting pump device, and there should be a certain pressure difference at the lower limit of the starting pump.

The correct maintenance of diesel fire pump, especially preventive maintenance, is the simplest and most economical, so it is the key to prolong its service life and reduce its cost. Daily maintenance can check the oil volume of the oil tank according to the following steps, observe the oil storage condition of the oil tank, and add enough oil if necessary. Check the oil level in the oil pan and observe whether the oil level meets the marking requirements on the scale. If the oil level is insufficient, add the scale for quantitative measurement, but it shall not exceed the upper limit of the scale marking. Check the oil level of the fuel injection pump governor. If it does not reach the specified mark, add enough oil. Check whether there is enough lubricating oil at the oil filling point of the diesel engine circulating pump, remove the oil filling nozzle on the pump, observe whether the lubricating oil in the pump is sufficient, if not, use the oil gun to inject enough lubricating oil into the diesel engine circulating pump.

3、 Installation of diesel generator set accessories.

The installation of each accessory includes the firmness, the foundation screw, and the firmness of the connection with the working machinery. Check the drive connecting rod of the fuel injection pump and check whether the connecting screw is loose. If it is loose, correct the injection advance angle again and tighten the connecting screw. Clean the surface of diesel generator and its auxiliary equipment, wipe off the oil, water and dust on the surface of fuselage, supercharger, cylinder head shell and air cleaner with dry cloth or rag soaked with diesel; wipe off or blow dry the dust on the surface of charging generator, radiator and fan with compressed air.
